Rath shrugged. "We're both solitary fey, but I used to be of the Seelie Court. Most of my powers lie in manipulation of light. I can use it to create weapons, attacks, even shields if I have to. I haven't gotten into many fights, and like Rachel said, I was never trained in battle, so I don't know the full extent of my ability. For the most part, I use my lance and try to avoid magick." He looked at Rachel. "Your turn."

Rachel rolled her eyes, but hesitated. "I was an Unseelie challenger." she said slowly. "It's something like a human Gladiator. I'm strong with weapons and battle plans, but I have no magick past elementary glamour." She looked at Nanashi. "Don't ask how we became solitary."

"Personal?" he asked.

"Something like that. It shouldn't affect your mission, and if it does, you'll be here a lot longer than you think."

'Speaking of wich, how long do you think this is going to take?' Rath asked.

'That largely depends on how they're spread out throughout the realm. Finding them shouldn't be too hard, I can trace them. But if they're all hiding in different places, travelling will take a long time.' said Nanashi.

'Can you sense where they are right now?' asked Rachel.

Nanashi closed his eyes and went silent for a moment. Suddenly, he pointed to the left.

'They're in that direction, all grouped up in some sort of a hideout. Most likely a fortress. There's about twenty of them, so we'll be outnumbered either way. Still, we have the element of surprise on our side.' Nanashi said, turning towards Rath and Rachel again.

Rath sighed: 'Three against twenty, I don't like the sound of that.'

'Don't worry, I've got a trick up my sleeve. Vampires are highly vulnerable to fire, so we'll need a few torches, or atleast something that we can throw inside the light their hideout on fire.'

Rachel smiled. 'And by doing this, you hope to drive them out as well as kill some of them before the battle starts?' she said.

Nanashi grinned and nodded.

'Well then, let us get moving.' Rath said, sounding slightly more confident.

Rachel grinned. She was starting to like this Nanashi. At first she was a bit leery of him, despite what she knew were good intentions. Now, however, he was proving himself to be her kind of warrior.

"I can do you one better." Rachel said. "The only reasonably well-protected fortress in that direction lies only about ten miles from here. There are also several large buildings in that direction that could house a fair many people if your vampires aren't too smart. The best part is, they're all made of wood. And the Seelie are celebrating one of their holidays tonight with bonfires."

"You want to steal a Seelie fey's fire?" Rath asked.

"Well, do you think they'd give us a few torches if we asked nicely?" Rachel shot back with a grin. Rath rolled his eyes.

Sami's faint glow lit up the forest floor as Danielle frantically chased after her. "Sami, Get your ass back here now, we didn't mean what we said." Danielle screamed at her but Sami didn't reply she just kept on flying ahead of her.

Typical of the Johns family, They had been fighting over something stupid again, it was something about a cat. Sami got pissed off at the Twins and ran off in the woods, which made Danielle follow after her. Then a few moments after that Darrin followed after Danielle because he didn't want to be left home alone.

Sami continued to fly ahead of Danielle and Darrin some strong force pulling her to a certain spot eventhough her anger was abating and she really wanted to go home, but couldn't shake off this strong pull that lured her forward.

Soon Sami stumbled upon a portal in a cleaing after the force ended up making her slam her head into it. She got up off the ground, shook off some dead leaves and gazed at it almost lovingly.

Darrin and Danielle arrived at the clearing a few moments later, and they both stared at the portal and their sister wondering what the hell a portal was doing in the middle of the forest. and why was Sami staring at it like that.

They both approached Sami cautiously knowing that she may still be mad at them. When they were in a few feet from her, Darrin nodded to Danielle. They both shoved her into the portal and then they followed soon after.

Sorry for the double posting but i figured i'd put some more stuff into it

They landed in a flowery field full of butterflies and cute little fluffy animals, at the other end of the portal.

Sami got up and looked around. Her eyes dazzling at the flowers and animals that gathered around her feet. She soon started to run around the animals following her.

She was still running through the field happily whenever Danielle and Darrin arrived. They both stared at their sister with amused grins, but soon they're grins were wiped off their faces whenever an Elf came up to Sami and carried her away.

Darrin and Danielle both followed after her, their minds racing with many thoughts.

Ack, sorry for not having replied to this any earlier. >.<

"I'm willing to give it a try. The only other way I can think of to light their fortress on fire is by dropping a tree onto it and lighting it on fire with a lightning spell," said Nanashi.

"Am I the only here who actually thinks of using both ideas?" Rath asked.

"It's amazing, you actually used your head for once," said Rachel, "And no, the time you banged your head against the door doesn't count."

Nanashi couldn't resist laughing, Rachel's way of making that last statement come across so naturally was probably the cause of this.

"Anyway, we'd best get moving unless we want those vampires to find us first," said Rachel.

"Yes. They'll be out hunting soon enough," said Nanashi.

"Better than we care to." Rath muttered under his breath.
