I'm sure some of you are anxious to hear some funny band camp stories. Well, I've been filming(and having people film for year) this year at bandcamp, so you can see what's happening xD

Looks like you had some great weather there. Over here it's been a bit unpredictable, the one day it looks like the average rainy day in Belgium and the other it's over 30°C. We had a pretty cool thunderstorm here yesterday, which scared the shit out of my cousin. xD

Anyway, some of those instruments look pretty impressive for a school band (our school doesn't even have a band) in my opinion. Hope band camp was pretty fun.

Actually, it's been on and off thunderstorms here for the last two weeks. The one day they had to march in the rain, but I didn't want to take my camera out in that. I think on Tuesday they had to march in a downpour. Yeah, it was Tuesday, but I was inside doing uniform fittings and some paperwork for my tux(I'm probably wearing a tux this year instead of an actual uniform >.<)

Thanks for the instrument comments. Guess who had to clean all the percussion instruments. I shall give you a cookie if you guess right xD

Yup, I had to clean all the percussion instruments. And by all I really mean all. I had to get out the drums and accessories we haven't used in years and clean them because the half time show calls for most of them.

That sucks really bad and these videos are not that bad... though in the first one it seems like the trumpets don't sound that good like they are off their playing or something.. it might be just me though.

Trust me, there is a hell of a lot of work to be done before we actually sound like the KHS marching band. I'm doing my part by holding after school practices for those who don't understand the music and/or can't march. I have been deemed "the band goddess" for this idea xD Well, that's what I heard from Schwo anyway
