The first one was better, but that's usually how it goes. *grins* I have both.

Ever read anything by Neil Gaiman? The Graveyard Book was a really good one, if you don't mind a little dark fantasy.

Is that actually a good book? If it's the one I think it is, I've seen it around.

It's a very good book. It's a nice break from all the "dark" fantasy novels. Those are usually about vampires, and this is about demons with an awesome twist on the story.

Yeah. I think the stupid Twilight craze pretty much broke me from reading vampire novels that are written for teenagers.

Except for the House of Night series. That is a truly awesome series.

I lean more towards dragons, paranormal, and haunting-style stories myself.

@Encron
yeah i don't mind "dark" fantasy type books. They are very intriguing

@Seth and Sara

I will have to read those books...... eventually... whenever i'm done with the series that i'm reading now. I know what you mean about the whole "twilight craze" cause it annoys me a lot i still want to read them just to see if they are any good.

They're not. Take it from someone who has.

On the other hand - do you like romance? You may like them then - they're nothing but romance. One of the reasons I prefer House of Night - there's romance, yes, but the storyline is not dependent on the romance. I can actually enjoy the series.

i see what you mean, and yes i do like romance novels but not were they are like every other sentence making out and stuff like that. My little sister has read the House of Night novels and she really likes them a lot. I'm planning on taking them off of her to read *grins*
