Yes, I'm aware that I've been inactive for a long time now, and I'd like to apologise for that. Anyway, now that I have returned to do some posting I've noticed two more spam accounts.

It seems that the measurements that Forumup had promised don't actually work out as planned. I do get an e-mail whenever someone decides to join up, but their account is already created. This way, they can't actually DO anything, but we still have to go through and delete them all when it comes down to it.

Now, you see, these last two bots both came from the same website, runescape-shop or something similar. As for their e-mail, they just used my username. Now, we can attempt to ban them by their IP. Normally speaking, anyone with the banned IP should not be able to acces the forum index page nor do anything on the forum. Wether this is going to work or not, I'm not sure.

Anyway, if you do see a suspicious account, take not of it's IP and ban that first, delete the bot later. No matter how many we delete, they can still come back and make a new one. The ones using 'Encron' as their e-mail should probably be halted now since I've banned the use of that e-mail.

Again, I'm not sure if this IS going to work since I'm far from an informatics expert, I'm just a man without a life. xD
